Travocado vs TripIt
TripIt is primarily a trip organizer — it turns forwarded confirmation emails into one itinerary. Travocado starts a step earlier: it plans the trip for you from a prompt, then stays a live workspace your group can edit together.
AI-drafted itinerary from a prompt
Describe a trip in plain language and get a full day-by-day draft — not just a place to organize confirmation emails.
Free to start
No account required to see a draft itinerary.
Real-time group editing
Everyone traveling together edits the same itinerary live, with presence and per-section locking.
Group polls
Vote on options as a group directly inside the trip.
Self-checkout booking links
Flights and hotels link straight to the provider to book — no payment ever passes through Travocado.
Shared budget tracking
Track estimated vs. actual spend per category, in your own currency.
Travocado rows reflect features shipped in the product today. We don't maintain a live audit of TripIt's feature set — theirs may include some of the same things, may not, and changes over time, so check www.tripit.com directly for their current offering.
